DENVER – One of the fastest growing groups of new business owners in the country are entrepreneurs 50-years-old and older.
And, considering there are 76 million people that age, this may only be the start.
That’s why the Denver District Small Business Administration Office has some programs to help them get going.

The SBA is offering a new Encore Mentoring initiative, where entrepreneurs are matched with successful business mentors and experts for advice and assistance.
The SBA says it’s a way to help entrepreneurs over 50 bring their experience, knowledge and skills to a new venture.
The program also incorporates one-on-one counseling sessions, workshops and webinars to help get the startups going.
And speaking of Webinars, the first one is scheduled for today at 10 a.m.
